Fossil Pendant
Meet Orthoceras, a Prehistoric Squid Fossil. This relative of the Cephalopod (Octopus) is most commonly found between the Ordovician and Devonian Periods and is approximately 400 million years old.
I decided to use a minimalistic, framing technique in Hammered Bare Copper because I wanted the Fossil to be the Focus of the piece. After all, he is literally History.
This pendant is approximately 3 inches tall.
